Python Django Developer Intern

About the Role

We’re looking for a passionate and curious Django Developer Intern to join our tech team. You’ll work on real-world projects, contribute to backend development, and gain hands-on experience with scalable web applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend components using Django and Django REST Framework
• Integrate APIs and third-party services
• Collaborate with frontend developers and designers to deliver seamless user experiences
• Write clean, reusable, and testable code
• Participate in code reviews and agile development cycles
• Assist in deploying and monitoring applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Heroku, etc.)

Requirements

• Basic understanding of Python and Django
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Version control using Git/GitHub
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with Docker, Celery, or Redis
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of security best practices in web development

Eligibility

• Final-year students or recent graduates in Computer Science, IT, or related fields
• Must be available for a minimum of 20–30 hours/week
